Welcome to Opportunity Knocks for Youth, Inc.
Opportunity Knocks for Youth — or OK4Youth — is a Georgia nonprofit organization addressing the fundamental life skill needs of Cobb County’s at-risk youth. By exerting positive influences today, we are helping build independent and responsible citizens for tomorrow.
Did you know?
In Georgia more than 13,000 children are in foster care and more than 3,000 of these are teenagers.
Less than 20% of children in foster care graduate from High school.
In contrast, 75% of teens in Opportunity Knocks for Youth programs not only graduate, but 60% of those pursue higher education.
Ok4Youth serves the following groups and organizations:
- Haven Hearts – a female group foster home ages 13 to 18
- Open Arms – a male group foster home ages 16 to 18
- Project Plus – a male group foster home ages 15 to 18
- Franklin Road Weed & Seed – a coed group ages 13 to 19
- Cobb County High Schools – coed 9th-12th grades
We are eager to share our initiatives for fostering positive growth and development. Please take a moment to learn how we interact with our youth.
