Actor Philip McAdoo speaks to Youth

Dec. 2009 – Some 60 youth and mentors gathered at the Paper Mill Grill in East Cobb County to hear actor and youth supporter Philip McAdoo, Diversity Director at Pace Academy, speak to the boys and girls about setting goals, making choices and persistence through his own life story. He included his experiences in the cast of “The Lion King” on Broadway and as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a result of the work he was doing in New York City on behalf of at-risk students.
